I carry out my current hospital activities within the cellular therapy department of La Conception University Hospital in Marseille,France in which I hold the position of "Quality Control" Manager. My missions are detailed below:

- Validation and interpretation of UVA irradiated mononuclear cell transplant performed routinely in extracorporeal photochemotherapy procedure (200 / year)
- Participation in the validation and interpretation of autologous serum eye drops (3000 vials / year) procedure preparation
- Participation in clinical research activities using Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (currently open trials assessing the interest of the vascular stromal fraction of adipose tissue in the treatment of functional disability of the sclerodermal hand, complex perianal fistulas of Crohn's and scarring of the scarred vocal cords, 3 open-label clinical trials for cartilage regeneration using autologous platelet-rich plasma combined or not with microfat). This level of activity (25 ATMP preparations / year) places our department among the most active structures in France in the field of ATMP
- Participation in the quality and certification process of the application of the Good Manufacturing Practices of the facility.
- Participation in the training of interns and students, attached to the cell therapy department.

I also used to work 12 months in the department of Biotherapies of the Necker Hospital and the IMAGINE institute in the Human Lymphohematopoiesis team of Pr. Marina CAVAZZANA. I participated in innovative trials of gene therapies in the management of severe hemoglobinopathies (beta major thalassemias and homozygous sickle cell disease) and I supervised cellular engineering processes in patient transplants of two clinical trials, respectively on WASP immune deficiency (Hacein Bey et al, JAMA, 2015) and on the management of high-risk GVH deficits combined with the use of depleted allogeneic grafts in naive T cells (Touzot et al, J. Allergy Clin Immunol, 2015).

Place : Cardiovascular and Nutrition Research Center (C2VN), Aix Marseille University
The Research Center in Cardiovascular and Nutrition, AMU / INSERM / INRA brings together 190 statutory researchers, academics, doctors, technical staff and students in the faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy and consists of 5 research teams. The C2VN deploys expertise on all the pathways and targets involved in the pathophysiology of the endothelium, with the aim of identifying biomarkers and biotherapies, which can explore the vessel and allow its repair or regeneration.
